Kentucky Ministry was founded in August 2010 to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our ministry strives to provide a network for Christian believers to be encouraged and informed, to serve our neighbors and friends in need, and to spread the message of Christ to those who do not know Him or have not yet decided to follow Him. Our website is designed to promote the Good News through devotionals, articles, music, and stories, as well as information on Christian events being hosted throughout our state and surrounding areas. Our website material is in keeping with the fundamental tenets of the Christian faith as expressed below:
Believing a New Testament Creed
"You are the Christ, the Son of the living God... on this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it." Matthew 16:16,18
"For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ." 1 Corinthians 3:11
Wearing a New Testament Name
"And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch." Acts 11:26
"Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter." 1 Peter 4:16
Obeying a New Testament Baptism
"He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned." Mark 16:16
"Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." Romans 6:4
"There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ..." 1 Peter 3:21
Observing a New Testament Communion
"And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me. Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.” Luke 22:19
