Prayer is an important part of our daily lives as Christians.  James 5:16 tells us to "pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."  Romans 12:12 reminds us to rejoice in hope, be patient in affliction, and be persistent in prayer.   In 1 Thessalonians, we are told to "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."  There are many examples in the Bible of Christians spending time alone or together in prayer.

There is no part of our life that is too unimportant to pray about, so pray about everything.  God wants to hear our prayers.  He wants us to pray specifically, and to pray often.  We all need the spiritual revival that comes from spending time alone with Jesus in prayer.  In the quiet moments when we open our hearts to Him, He gives us direction, perspective, wisdom, and courage.

Do you have prayer needs today?  Are you struggling with something that you need to lay at the Lord's feet?  Do you know of someone who needs our prayers?  Don't try to handle it yourself.  We would be glad to pray for you or pray with you.

Just fill out the form below, and tell us specifically what we need to pray for.  Be sure to include your email address, so we can confirm that we have received your request.  Let us take your worries and cares to the Lord in prayer.

THE LORD'S PRAYER

Matthew 6:5-13
"And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. After this manner therefore pray ye:

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen."

Your prayer requests have been received today, Sunday, June 12...  We lift you up to our Lord and Savior; please continue to trust in Him to provide.  God bless you.

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
"I thank God, whom I serve, as my forefathers did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers."
